20). An Integrated Conical Slit Cold End Heat Exchanger of the Linear Pulse Tube Cryocoolers and Its Manufacturing Method

[Patent Abstract]

The present invention discloses an integrated conical slit cold end heat exchanger of the linear pulse tube cryocoolers and its manufacturing method. The heat exchanger comprises three components: an outer shell, a conical slit structure, and a T-shaped flow-guiding core column. The outer shell is the main heat dissipation surface and coupling interface, and protects the conical slit structure and T-shaped flow-guiding core column, and connects to both the regenerator and the pulse tube. Inside the outer shell, the conical slit structure is fabricated by slow wire cutting technology. A T-shaped flow-guiding core column is set at the center, and a core column slit is cut on the flow-guide core column. By uniformly cutting conical slits between unequal diameters, the present invention maximizes the heat exchange area within a limited volume. The cutting method transitions naturally from the large-diameter end to the small-diameter end, minimizing thermal resistance and flow losses. Additionally, laminar flow of gas in the pulse tube is achieved without gas deflector. This present invention enhances the overall performance of linear pulse tube cryocoolers, and it has positive significance for the practical application of space field.
