This present invention relates to the field of refrigeration and cryogenic engineering, and discloses a piston offset regulate device and its adjustment method for a piston-type DC linear compressor (DCLC). The purpose is to regulate the piston axis offset problem caused by the unbalanced back pressure during the operation of the piston-type DCLC. The piston offset regulate device comprises a branch tee, an electromagnetic regulate valve, a metering control valve, the branch bypass pipes, and a casing sealing cover, and the overall structure is connected in parallel to the suction pipeline of the compressor. During the operation of the compressor, a square wave signal of the same frequency is input to the electromagnetic regulate valve to control its opening and closing in coordination with the piston movement, thereby regulating the back pressure to balance the pressure difference between the cylinder and the back pressure chamber, thus reducing the piston offset. This invention effectively solves the problem of piston offset in piston-type DCLC during the operating conditions with the high compression ratio, which leads to reduced compressor efficiency and compression ratio.
